“Tele-Encounters: Beyond the Human” has a strong academic research component. We are employing an arts-based research methodology (for social robot design) conjoined with practice as research in the arts (for telematic theatre and A.I. interaction in online visual art) and more traditional sociological research (to analyse transnational family relationships).
